And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Scrupulous is very prim and proper, not to mention an overbearing neat freak. He always bosses the other hatchlings around, telling them not to make a mess, not to play too rough, and not to use 'Rude and Vulgar Language' whenever another hatchling calls him a weirdo.

Since most of the other frozen hatchlings have learned to avoid him, Scrupulous has taken it up on himself to keep his cave clean. Once his cave is nearly blindingly clean, Scrupulous will sneak into other caves, completely cleaning them.

When he is not 'Cleaning and Entering', Scrupulous practices his grammar, not to mention corrects other dragons' grammar too.
