Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Her mother is gone. Her father is a holiday dragon who only visits during Christmas season. Amelia was raised primarily by the the cave nurses, influenced mostly by the head nurse, Lunar, who taught her the white dragon philosophy of a pacifistic nature. Amelia became a nurse to protect other dragons by caring for them when they fall ill or injured. Although she's slightly impatient and proud, there is not a violent bone in her body. She frowns upon the typical behavior of her own breed, and avoids contact with other Hellfire Wyverns as much as possible. Choosing a pacifistic lifestyle does not always seem to bode well for her. Because of her natural role in nature as an obligate carnivore, Amelia has to scavenge for food and scraps. Her caretakers tried to aid her in this, but her ability to find food on her own is very vital to her pride, so she refuses to accept food from helpers.
