Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

PurpleShadowLove is a delicate Purple Dragon hatchling. She is tiny, barely half the size of other Purple hatchlings in her clan, and she looks a lot lighter purple too. This gives her the appearance of a crystal carving of a Purple or a bone china dragon doll. She doesn't run around as much as the other hatchlings in her cave, because she has asthma—a disorder that causes shortness of breath, among other symptoms.
