Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Dozens of dragons in EG's Cave have flooded the Balloon clan with complaints against this hatchling, Floating Snorlax. He is one of the biggest nuisances in the entire cave; he continuously steals food from all of the other dragons, even the poor ones without enough hoard to support their families. In fact, It seems as if he is always eating.

He does endure punishment, however. Occasionally, he will eat himself into a coma and doze off while floating in the air. Other dragons, including Anarchy's Rebels, will attack this hatchling from the air, tackle him to the ground, and tie him down. Some other dragons object to this practice, not because it is cruelty to a hatchling, but because as he is tied down, he sometimes blocks pathways that flightless dragons take to get around.
