Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It’s learned to use its new wings quickly and you now have a hard time keeping it on the ground.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ashi is the second oldest of 'The Triplets', three hatchling Gray Dragons consisting of himself, his older brother Shiko, and his younger sister Dachi. They generally complete what the others are saying, which a few of the older dragons, like Hades, find somewhat disturbing. Bizarre behaviour aside, they enjoy games and competitions, including Sesstra's flying games, seeking out Night Fury to try and solve her riddles (though this may not be the smartest idea in the world), racing Zam, and trying to wake up Veil, who seems to spend most of her time sound asleep. Ashi is the most hyper of the trio, and is never still, much like Zam. Though he's almost always with his brother and sister, he's been sometimes seen with the rather insane Micro, keeping up a string of questions while stalking the stalker.
