Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tohru was the second Christmas egg to be discovered by the human girl, Flight, in the mountains of Elgar. While bringing back the egg of Evemre, a Snow Angel, to her home on the shore of the Lake of Elgar, Flight found Tohru's egg lying on the shore of one of the rivers that run from outside Elgar to the hidden lake within. Obviously being brought from outside the mountains, Flight rescued the egg and raised the respective hatchling alongside Evemre. When she later found and raised four other eggs, Tohru watched his siblings with a prideful air. He prided himself on his strength, even as a hatchling, and would often carry his littermates on his back before their wings grew in. His favorite was his younger "brother", the Winter Magi named Fostrel. Together Tohru and the brightly colored hatchling would explore the area in the forest nearby Flight's home, Tohrutyr and it was often remarked by Fostrel how similar the name was. Now as adults, Fostrel and Tohru travel the world together.
