Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Avene is a very kind and caring dragon. He believes that hurting the feelings of others is always wrong.

He loves caring for eggs and hatchlings. When it comes to his own children, he took over the role of the mother while raising them. Avene is considered to be one of the best parents in his Clan.

Avene is a bit shy. Although this is uncommon for his breed, it doesn't cause other Pink Dragons to shun him.

Along with a couple of other Pink Dragons, Avene has formed a small Clan which is led by Ouium. Avene is the primary care-taker for the eggs and hatchlings, although other dragons are always happy to help him. It is an enjoyable life for Avene and he has frequently been trying to break out of his shell and talk to others more.
