Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Those tufts of purple on Hairy Harry are what he was named after. Harry is much more purple than other Daydream dragons of the clan, and there was a time he was ridiculed for it. Harry would scoff at them; he was proud of being who he is. His calm, reasonable, and friendly demeanor eventually coerced his bullies into becoming his allies. Not only has Harry gained the respect of his once enemies, he has also garnered the respect of the elder dragons to the youngest hatchlings.
One day, a Daydream dragon of gigantic stature caught his eye, and all too soon, Harry fell in love. Her boastful and mean mannerisms intrigued Harry, but he withstood his ground. Full of valor and steel, Hairy Harry looked Ginormous Ginny in the eye, refusing to back down. Eventually, after numerous contests of willpower, this one-sided love affair blossomed into mutual affection.
