It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Theologia Julian, one of Penthesilea's Amazon subclan, chose her title due to her primary interest, religion and the nature of the Divine. She took the name she uses with humans from the English anchoress Julian of Norwich, who spoke of the great love and mercy of God, called God Mother as well as Father, and said that "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well." While dragon theology is different from human theology in some ways, the dragon Julian shares with her human namesake a deep belief in the nature of the Divine as Love. She radiates love and peace, and other dragons often come to her for counsel or comfort in their need, finding in her a wise adviser and gentle, caring friend. She loves to discuss theology and philosophy, and can often be found in deep conversation with Sarasvati or Arete.
