Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Vernillain is often dismissed as a bastard child of Kikirri's as her entire lineage was shocked of her decision to mate with a no-name magma dragon.  The fact that it was almost a repetition of Beast from Beyond's own story was even more devastating to her prestigious family, though in Beast from Beyond's case she had mated with another stripped dragon (though with no lineage) and so it was seen as borderline acceptable.

These events however do nothing to deter Vernillain from family visits, and she is often seen as the life of the gathering, almost as if she is making up for whatever wrong she symbolizes.  Many speculate that she finds the concept of feeling alienated difficult, and so will set past wrongs right and find a respectable dragon to mate with and extend the family name.
