Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Prithvi Mata Drakein, Mother Earth Dragon, is just that. Born from the clays of the Earth, Prithvi was a lone, lost, dull green egg among huge, dull, moss-covered rocks in a barren place that was once abundant with life and water in the specific area the moss coated rocks were in. All gray and black around, this little spot was the same depressing color, gray-green. But somehow, the large, lizard-like mint dragon Geddy stumbled across this egg. It was unusually warm for a place so gray and cold. So, the mint dragon could only do one thing to keep the dying egg alive. He curled up on it, and made himself as comfortable as possible, and slept. When Geddy had woken up, the young green egg had hatched into a young green dragon, and they were both in a cave. Eef was standing over them, stroking the mint dragon's head. Well Geddy, she had said, you can name her. And so he had.
