White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nocturnal Mist is a little bit confused. As a hatchling, he was fascinated with the herd of Shadow Walkers within the Marble Cup Cavern, and slowly over time taught himself to twist his magic to that which they could do innately—to be incorporeal; to walk in shadow.

But he did not know then that to do this without being born to it is a dangerous business, for as he learnt to shed his physical form, so too did he begin to lose himself. He no longer remembers what he was before he joined the shadows, and it is with great difficulty that he returns himself to solid form. He is a half thing now, and the other dragons are wary of him.

The Shadow Walkers however are not at all bothered. They accept Mist completely and treat him as if he truly is one of them, glad to have him as one of their herd.
