Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shimmer is a Wrapping-Wing dragon under the command of his headstrong brother, Glimmer. He is the typical Wrapping-Wing- serious, old-fashioned, prideful. He scorns his brother and his decisions, and often thinks (and tells everyone!) that he could do better. This causes fights to break out between the brothers, in which the probability of each winning is equal.

Of the two, Shimmer has more knowledge than his brother, and never misses the chance to show him by openly humiliating Glimmer. Shimmer can often be seen with Eleanor, the cave's librarian, discussing topics most dragons have never heard of. Shimmer is quite prideful, like his brother, and enjoys showing off his flashy scales.

Shimmer is the head of the decoration department, and organizes all holiday activities. His decoration style is quite different and requires precision to do, and if one ornament were to be out of place, he'd fuss over it until it was right. His fussiness is worth it, as the cave looks enchanting after.
