Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Joyful Blessing is that one dragon that is always sweet and kind to everyone she meets, and many adult dragons prefer her over the more sneaky and those bouncing-off the-cave-walls hatchlings. Loving her beautiful little wings, she will always make sure they are in top condition. However, she never flaunts them around to make others jealous.  Often, Joy will wander in the forest to enjoy nature, especially at wintertime to tread through the fluffy snow.
