Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ava is a solitary creature who lurks in the shadows of giant trees, only visible by a faint luminescent green of her body and wings and waits for her prey to come along. She is by no means social like many of her breed, having only interacted with her carer whom she left to live in the vast forests without looking back. She has no knowledge of morals... she will kill anything or anyone that comes into view of her sharp green eyes. Many dragons fear her, as one can never know when she is watching in the thick darkness of the under-canopy, but she has never attempted to attack another dragon unless sure she can kill it.
