Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Because the Spectrum Clan is so big and continues to grow, it is split up into three groups. These groups are the Cave Born, the Clan Born, and the Abandoned. Dew Star represents the dragons of her clan who were taken in after being left behind by their original owners. Being an orphan herself, she is very determined about saving other orphaned dragons and leaves no egg behind. Even to this day, Dew wonders who her parents were and why they abandoned her. She treats all of her clan members fairly and equally. Her favorite activity is playing with butterflies, specifically glowing blue ones.
