Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A common sight amongst the meadows overlooking Razz Neptune's lake, Mrs Foley Hobbs, or just 'Missy' for short, has been a welcome addition since the day her egg was gathered from an unknown place by an anonymous hatchling, making its way under Vulcanica Earthtrember's great wing.

Growing up, Missy was a rambunctious and sociable youngster.  She loved nothing more than creating and initiating new games with Winter Rose-Petal; to this day, the frozen Bright Pink remains one of Missy's most loved confidants.  She calmed spectacularly in young adulthood, instead becoming more aloof and mysterious.  She began to walk with long- and secretly-practised daintiness, holding her wings out to softly coalesce her scent with the sweet meadow air; speaking in light riddles and striving to make every weyr-member loved, Missy grew dear in the minds of the older dragons.

She seems delighted to be on her own, enjoying her life and the lives always around her, and has no intention of taking a lifemate.
