Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
It was the day of the sun's eclipse. As the sun blacked out in the sky sending our world into darkness a meteor shower began with rocks hitting the ground and sending sand and stone flying. All that could to shelter in our great cave. Others huddled in solemn masses in the nesting dens watching the sky shoot terror from its darken abyss. When all was over Seator and his young mistress searched the island for any who had been hurt by the shower. All were well, even the ones who had shelter in the lagoon and cove. Upon their return to the cave the young girl found the most wonderful treasure, a Sunsong Amphipteres egg. She brought it to the great cave were it hatched into a glorious Sunsong whom she named Tomorrows Dawn. He was such a lovely thing and he took to the sky as soon as his wings would allow. As he got older his presents makes even the scariest days happy and even the stormiest among them have grown to appreciate the joy that he brings to their caves.
