Pumpkin Dragons are a very small breed, named after their affinity for pumpkins. They are always found living inside hollowed-out pumpkins, and are only seen during the harvest season. Young children often hollow out and decorate their pumpkins in the hope that a Pumpkin Dragon will make it his or her home.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

An egg shape with two star shaped holes and one oval shaped hole in it. It is hollow and has a green vine trailing out of it. This is the pumpkin that Kabocha-sama lives in, and he has never had regrets about the pumpkin he chose. He had chosen this pumpkin when he was getting too big for his mother's pumpkin, and he was glad that he had left his old home, as this new pumpkin was much roomier. Basking his golden yellow body in the sunlight, he closed his eyes and lay atop of his home. Although living in a pumpkin by himself was quite lonely, it didn't bother him too much as occasionally a human's hand would pat his head and then he would start to purr. Usually whenever these humans came to visit him they would leave a bouquet of flower at a square or semi-oval shaped rock with scribbles of writing on it. Kabocha-sama didn't know why they did this, or why the rocks had writing on it, but it didn't really matter to him as long the humans continued to visit him.
