Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Two Cent Show chose her name after she discovered the wonder of carnivals. At first, humans always hid when she came swooping down to investigate the bright lights and cacophonous sounds. Gradually, though, word spread of the beautiful dragon who often graced the skies when a carnival arrived in town, and rumors spoke of good fortune coming to those who spotted the lovely beast. Soon enough, humans began to welcome the dragon's presence. One enterprising lad, the son of a fire eater, approached the dragon one day and asked for her help in making his own exhibit. Since then, Two Cent Show has taken up residence in her own little tent, with a sign on the door saying, in the boy's rough handwriting "2c admishun—Come And See the Wondrus Carnival Dragon." Underneath, in neater scratches, are the words "Two Cent Show—the Wondrous Carnival Dragon." Two Cent Show spends some time each day when not performing to teach the boy proper spelling, although so far she has met with little success.
