Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Clergic was named partly for his code, and partly for his personality. Just as a clergyman is a priest, Clergic is highly religious. He has his own belief, about how a "magical magic person" created the cave, the scroll, and all life. He is constantly trying to convince the others of this belief, although he has had no success.

To help Clergic feel better about the other dragons rejecting his beliefs, Melek lets him help her tend to the sick. He prays over them, and blesses them with his "holy water," which he claims comes from the tears of a fish. The patients always get better, although whether it is due to Melek's magic or Clergic's prayers depends on who you talk to.
