Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He shines without any delay, a glow erupting the moment he was born. The other Scroll dragons took joy in looking at themselves through his shiny egg. Prized the moment he was shown to the world, he was always very energetic. He helped the hatchlings and Ashtolken, a Mint who took care of all the other Scroll dragons, and was the most helpful dragon next to the small Mint. He was the first rare to enter this particular Scroll. Though he was first loved much more by the other Scroll dragons, the amazement died and he was not respected for his breed but for his will to work enlightenment over other dragons.
