White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Altha is a sweet dragon, more so than other White dragons. She is far too kind for her own good. Other dragons have tried to take advantage of her sweet nature but have been stopped by her over protective brother Corwin, and Arlo, a Guardian dragon that has taken care of her and Corwin since they were eggs. When she was just a hatchling she came down with a terrible sickness that stunted her growth and left her with low energy. Being smaller than a normal White dragon, she will ride on her brother's back if she runs out of energy. She has fallen in love with a energetic Frilled dragon named Elmoor but her brother forbids her from even going near Elmoor. He stays by her side and leads her away from Elmoor if he gets close.
