Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Snow Child" in Japanese. She is the daughter of Koichi and Rika. She has been best friends with Miyuki, Hoshiko, and Yuki since they were hatchlings. She is a very quiet dragon, and doesn't like to be anywhere near confrontation. She is most certainly the quiet one of the bunch, and enjoys reading, poetry, walking through the woods, and star gazing. She is a very gentle soul, and has a beautiful voice to match it. She met her mate, Sika, when she injured herself during a walk in the woods. She didn't notice a root sticking up, and hurt her ankle. The pain was intense, and she started crying. That's when Sika came and comforted her. She was amazed by his kindness, and even more so when he walked her home. She agreed to start seeing him, and within a short time, they fell in love. After a short while more, they became mates. Now they enjoy nothing more than cuddling up in a nice snowbank together, or walking in the woods underneath a starry sky.
