Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Horse that Jumps Canyons is a friend to the other dragons. She is calm, patient, and understanding. Horse is best friends forever with Angel that Loves All. They do almost everything together, like eating together, talking with each other, occasionally tending to the hatchlings and eggs together, and so much more. They're like sisters.

Horse is mates with Ember that Burns Brightly and they have wonderful children. Horse helped Ember get over certain anger issues. She had sort of became the therapist for The Cave. Then Lightning that Lights the Sky actually appointed her the official Cave Therapist. Horse takes her job seriously. Sometimes she can't help, but most of the time her sessions are life changing. She is the tenth dragon accepted into The Cave.
