Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
There is an old legend that all dragons will come to know, for it is a story commonly told to hatchlings by the elders, of a giant dragon that wanders the forest of the island. The story tells of how he created the island by carrying massive loads of dirt and rock and seeds upon his mighty back and wings into the ocean back and forth. He spent centuries nurturing the island into a stable ecosystem able to sustain life on its own. "He breathed life into small hills, starting the race of Terrae dragons and sending them across the world to nurture forests". The eldest dragons can tell you first-hand that Inoa'ole is a beast of no words and is like any other dragon, he just devotes his time to nurturing nature. No one knows his true name or if he even has a name, so people call him Inoa'ole, meaning "nameless". Inoa'ole is (usually) respected universally since he takes care of the land, but rascal dragons always try to harass him. Inoa'ole never seems to mind but still... poor Inoa'ole.
