Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Refined and elegant on the outside, this female actually has quite the mischievous sense of humor hidden beneath all her finery, although it's a part of her that only her sisters know much of. Indeed, Marciane and her two sisters--all triplets--were the closest of close, spending nearly every waking minute together and sharing all of each other's joys and sorrows.

Until the day one was stolen.

A vicious black dragon arose from the south, leaving nothing but death in his wake, and demanded one of the fair sisters be his mate in return for sparing their family. And, to the horror of all, the youngest and gentlest of the sisters went with him willingly, saving her kin from his claws. Marciane and her remaining sister, Varsellie, swore that day that they would save their sister and put an end to the tyrant, but it will be no easy task. The beast grows stronger by the day, and they are but two civilian sisters. But still Marciane struggles on--and dares to believe in a Christmas miracle.
