Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Apprentice to his lady queen Ecrus, this hatchling is a twitchy sort, glint in his eyes showing his steel like nerves and wit. Called after his brace and mental capacity, Wit is very jittery and isn't serious half the time. Mischievous sort, he'd rather play then work, even if he is normally very quiet when he is around his queen. He is normally seen as the 'prince', and will have many others that will think him as royalty, which is a misunderstanding really. Just because both are a species of 'white', doesn't mean he is son of such a beautiful magic caster. With his position, he will normally be looking out in silent meditation, surrounded by white pillows and carpets. He is radiant and kind too, always giving. He doesn't want to bother anyone, even as he manipulates things in his favor. His status with the queen has made him want to stay as a hatchling, mostly because of his loyalty and devotion. He wants to stay forever.
