Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Over the centuries, the storms that sweep her world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. To stabilize the weather and prevent disaster, several Storm Dragons formed what is known as the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP). Rimu finds GWMP to be hugely beneficial project in his region of his world, though perhaps not for the reason the majority of GWMP believes. Rimu sees GWMP as a way to bring some cohesion to the vast variety of Caves that rule the area. Since GWMP was formed, the majority of the Caves have started working together and communicating more frequently, all of which leads to less wars. Rimu believes that, given the right motivation, GWMP could be a strong political force. Rimu also knows that he would give GWMP the best chance to do so.
