Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
An odd and delusional dragon, Rather Large for a Tangarine is convinced that she is not a dragon, as many others believe, but rather an enormous tangerine. No one is quite sure how she came up with this odd idea, but it has caused her to act very strangely, refusing to sleep unless she is up in a tangerine tree with other tangerines, her "siblings". She is no pygmy, however, and often crushes the small trees, awakening in the morning to find a severely injured tree underneath her, which is very puzzling indeed.
Aside from her odd sleeping habits, Tangarine is an abnormality in many other ways, ranging from her horror at learning that many other dragons eat her siblings when she's not looking to her confusion at being green, rather than orange, and quite un-peelable. After much thought, she has come to the conclusion that she is a magical tangerine, and it is her duty to protect her multitude of siblings a notion that has caused the others to snicker on multiple occasions.
