Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shmendrik is one of many magi dragons who came to the clan to learn from the ancient Princess Delirium.

Unfortunately he is not a very talented mage. He shares this attribute with his friend Rincewind and both dragons decided to try different approaches to overcome their difficulties. Shmendrik decided to follow Delirium's example and tries to master magic through intuition and raw emotion. His biggest problem is that the remains of the teachings of his first teacher still are stuck in his head, always nagging at the back of his mind insisting that he has to stick to the rules and laws dictated by the lore. He is close to giving up, despairing in the feeling that he is some kind of anti-magi dragon, even less talented than the black dragons he knows.

Delirium still vehemently claims that he will be the most successful of her students if only he can let go of old misconceptions.
