When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ladonth is widely known as the "grandpa" of the cave, because of his hard temperament, impatience for those petulant hatchlings, and... not to mention he's nearly as old as the elder magi Solath himself. He leads the water dragons, living in a room of the cave that houses an underground lake and river. While many of the younger water dragons do not live in the cave's lake most of the time, preferring to find other lakes down that river, Ladonth always stays, saying that chaos would erupt in his absence. Though recently something has got through to that soft spot of his heart, and it is a chicken named Eona. Though recent efforts to teach her to swim have failed, he can't help but want to care for that tiny bird, no matter how crazy the other residents of the cave think him for it.
