Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Gentle Fluttering Breeze—or Flutter as she calls herself—is one of the few frozen hatchlings which accepted freezing knowingly and willingly. She was, in fact, the one to request it; she knew from her adult friends that Skywing dragons lose their legs when they get older, and she loved running. She is still proud to be the only Skywing in her keeper's caves who has good chances of winning in a footrace as well as a flying race. She is competitive and abrasive sometimes, as well as having a high opinion of herself, but she generally means well. To this day she still enjoys racing as much as she ever did, and can be seen practicing on most nice days.
