Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being a dragon is not always easy. Midnight Hunt Thuwed is always quite busy, rushing around his clan's camp and 'collecting' food, namely by hunting, which he spends a good portion of his day doing. He's an expert at that, and he often brings back piles of the juicy, tender bodies of the animals he kills for food. Midnight Hunt Thuwed can also expertly de-bone anything from a mouse to wild dragons, which he does occasionally wipe out when they attack him. He doesn't like to kill hostile dragons, but whenever they ambush him, his hunting instincts kick in and before he can stop himself, he has already broken their spine or some other crucial part, ending their life, as he does to all of the prey he ceaselessly catches. In fact, some dragons say that Midnight Hunt Thuwed is a savage, since every time he kills a wild dragon, their brethren come for revenge, and he has no choice but to do the same to them. But he never eats their meat, so maybe he's not as low as everyone thinks he is.
