Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amethyst is the child of Malice and Plita and has no brothers or sisters. She is always admired by dragons that pass by and ask, "Wow, how did you get such beautiful stones to form on you" or say, "I've never seen a dragon like you." Even though she catches many dragons' eye, she is envious of the others. Her wings are useless in flight, even though they are gorgeous to look at. Amethyst will often gaze at the sky as other dragonesses soar through the sky and play around. This deformation doesn't leave her in despair, though. She is an elegant, intelligent, and pretty much content dragon that only speaks when spoken to, with a kind and clear voice.
