Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Storm is a friendly and sociable creature, spending time with other dragons. The fastest runner around, she uses her speed to hunt, as well as to race against other dragons. Her tail is strong and flexible, enabling its use as a whip. Her prowess at this biological weapon is superb, and she can wield it both offensively and defensively. The tail is also used to stabilise her when she runs, allowing her to make sharp turns quickly and easily, to confuse or outspeed prey and predator alike.
