Bright-Breasted Wyverns are a breed of dragon easily recognized by their bright red markings. They are a small breed, only the size of a full-grown man. However, they have developed poisonous barbs on their feet to make up for their size. Their coloration is used to warn off potential predators of the danger, and is also used to attract mates. They are very social, and can often be seen preening in large groups.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cazadriu is a Bright breasted Wyvern. As a hatchling, he was a sweet little creature, often seen toddling after the babysitters and even his fellow hatchlings and asking if he could help them. But as he grew older, the 'toddling' took on a bent that was, if not sinister, certainly not as innocent as it had once seemed. Cazadriu has taken to carrying around a huge pile of objects out of which he can produce in an instant whatever the dragon he is following around at the moment needs. Fairly often, said object was stored away in that dragon's domain, and how Cazadriu came to be in possession of it is anybody's guess. The Wyvern claims that he carries around anything and everything that has ever existed. Since so far he has managed to produce a variety of misplaced objects, a confused archaeologist, three mountains and uncountable lost hatchlings, no one is about to dispute this.
