Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

G'lyder gets his name from the mountain range of Glyder Fach, where he was born. His mother was driven out of the sea by her pod and chased up onto the mountains, where she was left to die from lack of water. She died giving birth to Glyder, and her last words were his name. Glyder was spotted by a circling Ridgewing dragon and was carried and deposited into the sea, where he was rescued by a more friendly pod than the one that drove his mother out. Glyder is like all of his kind, social, playful, and kind, but he harbours sorrow in his heart, and a scar along his face, to show the trials he went through when he was young, and survived.
