Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to be active around dusk.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon is a part of Clan Salamander, a group of dragons that mysteriously never fully develop. These baby dragons haven't matured at all since their departure from their egg, and are being protected and taken care of by a Silver female, Cas Salamander. Each hatchling has its own three letter first name and Salamander as its last. The size of these dragons varies from the size of a large dog to a small lizard such as a salamander, per their namesake.

Yiu (pronounced "you") is one of the smallest out of all of the afflicted hatchlings of Clan Salamander. She is excitable and constantly full of boundless energy. Yiu sleeps very often to maintain her energy, often times only staying awake a little before and after the sun sets.
