Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very devoted to studying magic and curative plants.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A lost little hatchling who relishes in eternal bliss.

Abandoned from their nest at a young age, the lost egg was found by a group of its own kind, cracked open and ready to hatch. Despite the best efforts of the Astralophynes and their magics, the hatchling was born sick and only grew worse in their first hours of life. Even with the aid of a White Dragon, the hatchling showed no improvement, continuing to get sicker and sicker as time marched forward. In order to ensure their survival, a spell was casted on the young fledgling so that they may live on as a happy, careless youth.
