Sunstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. Their social structure resembles a lion pride, with one dominant male and several females banded together with their young. They prefer arid climates where they can blend in and dig for minerals and gemstones that they not only collect, but eat. The more gems they consume, the larger their tail stone grows. They are an aggressive breed; it is not uncommon to see two males battling for mates and territory.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Antony was born to be a traveler. Born in the Neelix Desert, Antony soon had enough of the barren wastelands and longed to see other parts of The Cave. He has been to the coastal regions, the Cumberland Lake, and even through the deepest depths of the Arakiahoga Forest. He loves to meet new dragons and be extremely sociable with everyone- especially the ladies.

However, his journeys seemed to have ceased as quickly as they had begun one fateful day when he visited his homeland. Baking in the boiling sun, Antony spotted the most beautiful dragon female he had ever come across in his life: Johanna Redd. The two fell madly in love, but she explained that she never wanted to leave her beloved Desert.

Antony begged and pleaded for years until one day she gave in and decided to go on just one adventure with him. He took her to the most beautiful oasis in all of The Cave, The Heal Sector, and she fell in love with the exotic place. His mate is now completely open to the prospect of travel.
