Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Candida Hajna, "white dawn", is an inquisitive, likeable dragon. Candida Hajna will fly out of her den at night when she does not risk burning her delicate skin, exploring the mountain's features, as well as the varied landscapes beyond. With her expeditions and photographic memory, Candida will make maps for her master, pointing out new places to inhabit or spots to avoid. She does not mind being albino (much), and her generally open-minded demeanor helped the other dragons open up to her condition. Candida's only fault is her curiosity; sometimes she will put her snout in places she does not belong, and once she even discovered a secret about her master that condemned her to silence about the matter. Candida's name is due to her love of basking in the dawn light, the only sunlight that does not burn her skin. However, Candida's dearest wish is to fly freely in the sun, looking down at the land in its daytime glory and feeling the warmth of day on her back.
