Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Draa'Ali lives in a cavern at the base of the northern Alpines, overlooking the forest.

She is mostly nocturnal and enjoys spending her days sleeping and sunbathing on the stones around the mouth of her cave. Due to the constant exposure of sun on her oily back, her skin there has tanned and become fairly opaque. At the same time, her underside—which hardly ever receives sun exposure—has become so transparent that her heart can just barely be seen beating in her chest.

She is somewhat self-conscious of the visible veins on the undersides of her wings and generally opts to fly below any other dragons she might fly with to keep them from being seen.

She enjoys hunting small game in the forest near the mountains, leisurely flights over the snowy peaks, stargazing, and playing with fireflies. She's not particularly adventurous and doesn't care to stray too far from her cave; she prefers to enjoy the simple pleasures of her own territory.
