Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Neshny is a quiet Dragon. His name means "storm" in the ancient language and that might be the reason why he is truly happy only when there is storm. Usually he sits in the dark corner of the cave but when he sees at least one little dark cloud, he runs out to welcome the Storm.

Neshny doesn't like many Dragons and is rude to them. But there is only one Dragon he isn't rude to. Already when he was a hachling, he has been admiring Bakenkhonsu, one of Lewa's four elder Dragons. But the Daydream Dragon hardly notices that the young Gray dragon is always seen near him. Or at least he acts like he doesn't.
