Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mokuju has a talent for helping feuding dragons make peace with each other. However, given that he's rather shy and awkward when talking, he finds that he's the most helpful when he's not actually physically present for the negotiations. Instead, he'll listen to cases that are brought to him, hide away in his living cave for a few days while he thinks about the grievances of both sides, and then respond to the complaints by written message. This has made him a rather welcome guest at clan meetings, but also the target mediator for hatchlings fighting over extra snacks.
