Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s already quite large compared to other hatchlings, and appears to like roughhousing.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Found in the streets of New Acropolis, Vruteos never had known what it was like to have a family. His horns had the markings of "SE", the initials of a  well known Dragon Slayer Wizard named Sting Eucliffe. Looti, his current owner, used his Wild magic to brand his "VT" into the other horn. Vruteous, despite the moment of heat and pain, was ecstatic at the branding. He was frozen at his own wish. Vruteous was enamored with Big Tensions of Garden, an expert huntress. It was the only way for the big brute to get close. He has yet to capture her heart, but he has found a way to pass the time. Whenever a new Dragon arrives, Vruteous and some other muscular Dragons mine rooms into the side of the Abyssal Wake. Although his life may be tedious, he would never change back it to his original one.
