Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moon Light Rise, unlike most Royal Blue dragons, loves to fly. She was born with huge wings that shined brilliantly in the moonlight. Many Royal Blue dragons saw her as a role model, for she believed anything was possible. She soon became a leader of her tribe. She became a guardian of the mountains her tribe called home, for she had a huge advantage of seeing what is going on while flying. Once she spotted a Male black tea dragon named Pink Horizon climbing up the mountain. She approached him cautiously and noticed he had an injured wing. He soon noticed Moon Light Rise, and asked for help. He claimed he was seeking medical attention from the Royal Blue dragon tribe on top of the mountain. Pink Horizon was brought to the tribes doctor, and spent many days in bed healing. Moon Light Rise often visited him in the hospital, and worried for his health. She began to notice she loved Pink Horizon. One day at the hospital, she admitted it. Pink Horizon claimed he felt the same way as well.
