Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Host Robert lipton likes to make up his own stories of complete fantasy. These stories often make the world seem like a nicer place where only good can happen. The stories he makes are also the dreams he drops on innocent dragon's or people who happen to walk by. He does this because he wants to make others happy creating only the most positive and beautiful dreams. So he drops these fantastic dreams on his victims creating a world that is perfect. But this does not solve problems it is only solving it temporary. Host can be a dangerous dragon who also won't hesitate to drop the most terrible nightmares on others who posses threat towards his clan. Host is optimistic, protective, thoughtful, compassionate, vengeful, creative and a bit clumsy if it comes to other people's problems. He never leaves his cloud and is very territorial about it. Host also finds himself daydreaming most of the time and has a hard time himself to concentrate. Host is his clan's biggest source of entertainment.
