And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Blazzer Stripe is a red Striped dragon that came from two white Striped dragon named White Gurl and White boi. He never got how a red can come from two whites. He thinks his mama might have cheated with a red dragon, but he would never say that out loud to anyone. Not only would saying something like that be disrespectful to his parents and would make trouble between them, but since all the red dragons in the cave are mated with someone already, it would make fights all over. He wouldn't want to be the cause of that.
