Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Whispered Hope (known as "Hope" by her friends) is a Soulpeace at heart, if not in form. She takes after her father, a White dragon, but her healing talents are for ailments of the mind, not the body. For dragons suffering from nightmares, she hovers just overhead while they sleep, filling their dreams with sunshine and light. Hope knows which dragons in the cave have anxiety or depression, and takes care to visit them often, calming their thoughts with a peaceful daydream. She's a good listener, and many dragons feel as though they can tell her anything. Her very presence is soothing to them. "It gets better," Hope whispers, as she gently eases them into sleep. Dragons who visit her are often left with little memory of the encounter, just a vague recollection of a pale blue wing draped comfortingly over theirs and a feeling of serenity.
